REMOVING AND INSTALLING
DASHBOARD TRIM PANEL

Remove bottom trim panel - see 51 43.
Remove left bottom trim panel for the
dashboard - see 51 45.
Remove steering column - see Gr. 32.
Lift out inside lights on left and right
sides, remove instrument cluster and
pull off light switch plug - see Gr. 61.
Remove switches for power windows
and hazard lights.
Remove mirror switch.
Remove shift lever cover - see Gr. 25.
Remove radio - see Gr. 65.
Remove plate for heater control panel
- see Gr. 64.

Unscrew screws.

Unscrew screws.
Lift out ashtray and disconnect electric
connections.

Lift out ashtray.
Unscrew screw.

Lift (1) the parking brake lever cover.
Pull (2) cover forward.

Unscrew screw.

Disconnect and remove side trim panel.

Unscrew screws in right footwell.

Disconnect plugs for the high pitch
radio speakers.
 
Unscrew nuts on left and right sides.

Installation:
Tightening torque = 21 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).

Pull out dashboard toward the rear.
