REMOVING AND INSTALLING
LEFT OR RIGHT BOTTOM
TRIM PANEL:

Raise the door.
Lower the window.

Caution!
Pull out fuses 25 and 26 in the interest
of safety (danger of being clamped in
door) - see general information 51 00.

Remove rear pillar plate - see 51 43.

Unscrew screws.

Unscrew screw.
Remove unlocking handle for the
convertible top storage box lid.

Push back and take off door opener
frame.

Unscrew screws.

Pull trim panel in and unclip clips.

Lower the door by hand, being careful
that the trim panel is not clamped.
Unscrew screws.

Push plate (1) down and unscrew
screw (2).

Remove engine hood release grip.

Raise door by hand to the half way
point.
 
Remove bottom trim panel carefully
from above.
 
Lower the door by hand.
Remove front plate.
