Unscrew bolt (2). Counterhold on guidepin. Important! Replace self-locking bolt. Counterhold on guidepin. Installation: Tightening torque = 31 to 35 Nm (23 to 25 ft. lbs.). | |
Turn up floating brake caliper. Take off brake pads. | |
Installation: Check pad and pad thickness = at least 2.0 mm (0.079"). Push back brake pistons completely. Important! Check that dust cover on brake piston is not damged while assembling. Check installed position of springs (4). | |
Drive out pin of pad wear indicator carefully. Check whether spring ring (5) can be reused. Replace pad wear indicators with a worn plastic part. |
