REPLACING ACCELERATOR
PEDAL

Installation:
Always replace a removed accelerator
pedal with a new part.
Clips of the old part could be damaged,
so that the accelerator pedal would
slide out of the collar plate.

Press down on carpet, bend clips
forward and lift out accelerator pedal
from above.

Installation:
Insert accelerator pedal with pocket on
collar plate on floor plate and have
clips engage.

Always check that clips have engaged
correctly.

Turn accelerator pedal (1) enough,
until linkage tab (2) of the accelerator
shaft engages in opening (3).
Pull accelerator pedal off of the
accelerator shaft.

Installation:
Lubricate sliding surface on accelerator
shaft lightly with grease.
