DESCRIPTION OF POWER WINDOW OPERATION

Opening and Closing Windows:
Power window switch operated continuously until window reaches the desired
position. Power window switch operated briefly (tipped) opens or closes window
automatically. Clamping protection is active in a range from 200 to 4 mm
during automatic closing, so that the window would be opened immediately
were an object clamped in the window.

DESCRIPTION OF POWER DOOR OPERATION

The doors are lifting doors with electric motor drive. Operation of the doors is
possible on the outside via a door push button or on the inside via a door
opening lever.

Lowering Door:
On outside: brief pressing of door push button.
On inside: brief pulling of door opening lever.
Both the power door motor and power window motor are supplied with electric
power simultaneously while lowering the door. This means simultaneous lowering
of the door and window.

There is also an automatic mechanical connection between the power door and
power window. In case of power window motor failure, the window will lower
and raise with the door.

Raising Door:
On outside: brief pressing of door push button.
On inside: brief pulling of door opening lever.
Only the power door motor runs while raising the door. After the door has
engaged in the lock, the power window motor starts and raises the window to
the previous position. Clamping protection is guaranteed in an open range
between 200 and 4 mm while raising the window. If the clamping of an object is
recognized, the window will run down completely. Operation of a window with
the power window switch is only possible with the door raised.

Calibration Run:
After connection of the battery or replacement of the control unit, a calibration
run will be necessary.
1. Press push button: door and window lower completely.
2. Press push button: door and window raise completely
(without activated clamping protection).

Caution!
Clamping protection of power windows does not function during calibration
runs.
