REMOVING AND INSTALLING
STARTER

Disconnect battery ground lead (or
positive connection point on the
firewall).
Disconnect leads on term. 30 and term.
50 connections of the solenoid.

Unscrew nuts with a starter wrench*,
counterholding the connection with a
1/4" socket if necessary.

Disconnect terminals 30 and 50.
